As a follow-up to the previous issue of PrivacyScan that considered the Privacy Commissioner’s approach to naming names, in this issue Murray Long looks at the Sobey’s finding in more detail. Given that the Privacy Commissioner made recommendations with respect to Sobey’s use of video surveillance, this has particular relevance to anyone who uses security cameras in a retail setting.
